Sunman, In. — Deufol North America, Inc. has announced plans to lay off 250 workers. Company officials provided no additional information in their notice to the state of Indiana.
The layoffs begin September 30 and are expected to be permanent. The employees affected are not affiliated with the union. Company officials say the Sunman facility will not close.
In June of 2017, Deufol announced the purchase of Wisconsin-based Bentley World Packaging and plans to expand North American operations.
Deufol provides custom packaging products throughout the world.
