Steven E. Milbourne, of Brookville, was born on August 15, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio, a son to Paul and Marjorie Rose Kuntz Milbourne. He graduated from Brookville High School and then pursued a career in construction. Steve married Lynda Smith on August 20, 1994 and she survives. He spent many years as a volunteer firefighter for Brookville Fire Department, and in his spare time he loved spending time with his family and woodworking – but his family remembers he enjoyed working as much as anything! On Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the age of 70, Steve passed away at U.C. Medical Center in Cincinnati.
Those surviving who will cherish Steve’s memory include his wife, Lynda Milbourne; children, Steven P. (Michelle) of Pittsboro, Michael Todd, David Bradley and Anthony Brian, all of Florida, Patrick Ryan of California, Victoria Rose of Indianapolis, and Michael Smith of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Conner, Aaron, Lainey, Michael, Carolina, Dawson, Mackenzie, and Jordyn; one sister, Sherry Murrell of Brookville, and two nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville, with rosary being recited at 10 a.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m.
