Stella “Sissy” Childers, age 70, Sunman, died Friday, November 19, 2021, at Madeira Health Care Center, Cincinnati, Ohio. Stella was born July 15, 1951, a daughter to Pete and Mona Jones in Lawrenceburg. After attending Lawrenceburg schools, she married her late husband Thurman Childers on May 17, 1971.
Stella enjoyed her life as a homemaker tending to her gardens and taking care of her yard. She was always up to get away and play a good game of bingo. Stella always enjoyed spending time with friends, but most of all being with her family and her grandchildren.
Stella is survived by her son Jimmie (Sara) Childers of Batesville with her three grandchildren Draven, Chance, Nikiya and a sister Rita Vinson of Dillsboro. She was proceeded in death by her parents and loving husband of 34 years.
To honor Stella’s wishes cremation was chosen. There will be a celebration of life at a later date, for friends and family.
