(Southeastern IN) – We have this reminder that the Statewide Tornado Drill is set for 10:15 this morning.
Sirens throughout Southeastern Indiana will be activated as part of the drill, which will be broadcast as an Emergency Alert System (EAS) on radio and TV.
The drill is part of Indiana Severe Weather Preparedness Week, which began Sunday and runs through Saturday.
The Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS) and the National Weather Serviceencourage you to act now to prepare for severe weather.
IDHS encourages families, schools and workplaces to make tornado safety plans, and suggest you practice those during this morning’s test drill.
