STATEHOUSE — A summer study committee made up of Indiana lawmakers will discuss marijuana.
Republicans and Democrats will talk about delta 8, delta 9, and other THC products.
Lawmakers will also discuss the potential health benefits of pot and possible decriminalization.
This comes after ramped-up efforts by Democrats and others around the state to legalize marijuana.
Senate President Pro Tem Roderic Bray (R-Martinsville) said he’s not sure what will become of the discussions but believes it is important to hammer out the issue and listen to both sides of the argument.
Bray added while other states are already acting on the issue, Indiana will take the right approach after hearing and considering all options.
