The game was close throughout the with the Cards leading 12-11 at halftime and 20-16 at the end of the 3rd qtr.
Offensively, Andrew Oesterling lead the Cards with 10 points followed by Leyton Ratcliffe with 6 points. The entire team did a great job of breaking the press and playing aggressive defense.
The St. Louis boys 6th grade basketball team lost on the road to St. Michael’s Thursday night by the score of 28-11.
Adam Cox led the way for the Cardinals with 4 points. Others scoring were Zach Harmeyer, Evan Vogelsang, and Max Kirschner with 2 points apiece and Johnny Deal with 1 point. Jacob Deutsch played a great defensive game and was the leading rebounder for the team.
The Cardinals will host the St. Louis 5th and 6th grade tourney this Saturday and the 6th grade’s first game of the day will be at 11:00 against St. Lawrence.
