St. Louis 5th Grade Basketball Falls On The Road

Lawrenceburg, IN – The St. Louis 5th grade basketball team travelled to Lawrenceburg to take on the Greendale Tigers on Tuesday night, looking to grab a road win against the Tigers.

Although the Cardinals continued to perform well on the defensive end, only allowing 8 points in the first half, offense was hard to come by against a much taller Greendale team. In the second half, the story was more of the same, the Cardinals were outmatched by Greendale’s size and physicality and they pulled away for the win. Final score, 26-7.

Leading the way for the Cardinals was Edie Walke led the Cardinals with 5 points and did a great job handling the ball against their defensive pressure.  Sarah Durham hit her first two free throws of the year for two more points.
