MORRIS, IN –This reminder that a weekend closure is scheduled to begin Friday night at 8:00 on State Road 46 in Morris for a box culvert replacement project.
INDOT says the road will reopen by 6 am Monday.
The area where the work will take place is located approximately 2 1/2 miles east of State Road 229, between Fisherman Road and County Road 450 East.
Motorists heading east from Batesville to attend weekend Masses or Sunday Night Bingo at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Morris can get around the work area by going Lammers Pike to Merkel Road and back to State Road 46 near the church.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use caution and remain vigilant of workers and equipment in active construction zones.
All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
