The Indiana Pacers return from a three-game road trip when they take on the Atlanta Hawks in NBA action tonight in downtown Indianapolis. The Blue and Gold is looking for its first win of the season after starting 0-4. We’ll join the game in progress following high school football sectional coverage.
The honors keep rolling in for Jonathan Taylor. The NFL has named the Indianapolis Colts running back the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for October. It’s the third time in his career Taylor has earned the title; in 2021 he was named AFC Offensive Player of the Month in both October and November. In the four games the Colts played this month, Taylor had 66 carries for 436 yards and nine rushing touchdowns; he also had 12 receptions for 93 yards and one score. Taylor played a key role in helping the Colts win all four games when he scored three touchdowns in three of the four games (against the Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Chargers and Tennessee Titans). Taylor led the NFL in total touchdowns and rushing TDs in October.
