Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco is 50-50 to start this Sunday against the Chicago Bears, according to head coach Zac Taylor. Flacco is dealing with an injured throwing shoulder. Taylor also put defensive end Trey Hendrickson in the same questionable category after the All-Pro aggravated a hip injury last week against the New York Jets.

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor has been voted the FedEx Ground Player of the Week. Taylor rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns in the Colts’ win over the Tennessee Titans last week. He also recorded 21 receiving yards and caught a TD pass.

It’s the end of an era at the Brickyard. Marco Andretti announced on social media yesterday that he is retiring from racing. The 38-year-old grandson of Mario Andretti says he will not attempt to enter next year’s Indianapolis 500 and will instead turn his attention to his family, business ventures outside of racing, and writing a memoir. Next year’s Indy 500 will not have an Andretti in the 33-car field for the first time since 2005. Marco Andretti started 20 Indy 500s and won two IndyCar races during his career. He has also driven IMSA Sports Cars and even a handful of NASCAR Truck and Xfinity Series races since leaving the IndyCar Series full-time in 2020.
