In college football, the Indiana Hoosiers throttled the Purdue Boilermakers 56-3 in the 100th Old Oaken Bucket Game in West Lafayette Second-ranked IU finishes the regular season 12-0 overall and 9-0 in the Big Ten. It’s the first perfect regular season in program history. The Hoosiers also clinched a spot in the Big Ten Championship Game for the first time ever. Purdue ends the year at 2-10 and 0-9 in conference play.
The Indiana Pacers clobbered the Washington Wizards 119-86 in NBA Cup play heard last night on the Sports Voice. Paskal Siakam scored 24 points and pulled down 11 rebounds to lead the Pacers, who improve to 3-16 and finish 1-3 in Group A play. The Pacers are back at it against the Chicago Bulls tonight in downtown Indianapolis. Coverage on the Sports Voice begins following high school basketball.
In the NFL’s Black Friday game, it was Chicago over Philadelphia 24-15.
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones is dealing with a leg injury. NFL Network reports Jones suffered a fractured fibula, but still fully participated in Thursday’s practice, and reportedly plans to play through it. Jones has started for the Colts in all 11 games they’ve played this season. Indianapolis takes on the Houston Texans at home tomorrow at 1 p.m.
