The Indiana Fever knocked off the Las Vegas Aces 80-70 in WNBA action last night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Kelsey Mitchell led the way with 21 points. Natasha Howard and Aliyah Boston both recorded double doubles. Howard had 18 points and 13 rebounds while Boston scored 13 and grabbed 10 boards. The Fever snaps its two-game losing streak and improves to 13-12 on the year. They’ll be back in action Sunday at Chicago.

Meanwhile, the Fever confirmed yesterday that All-Star guard Caitlin Clark has not suffered any additional injuries or damage after she underwent further medical evaluations this week. The team says there is no timetable for Clark’s return, and that she will continue working with the Fever’s medical team on recovery and rehabilitation, with the priority being on her long-term health.

And Fever guard Sophie Cunningham says she’s been fined by the WNBA after she went on her TikTok account last week to call out “some refs.” The TikTok post features the Sabrina Carpenter song “Manchild” playing in the background, and Cunningham lips syncs the words “stupid,” “slow” and “useless.” Cunningham announced on her X account that she was fined $500 for the TikTok post.
