The Indiana Hoosiers knocked off the 12th-ranked Purdue Boilermakers 72-67 in college basketball last night in Bloomington. IU has now won four of the last five matchups with Purdue at Assembly Hall. Lamar Wilkerson led Indiana with 19 points, and Nick Dorn added 18. The Boilermakers were led by Trey Kaufman-Renn’s 23 points. The Hoosiers improve to 14-7 overall and 5-5 in the Big Ten, while the Boilermakers have lost three straight and fall to 17-4 and 7-3…Elsewhere, #17 Virginia outlasted Notre Dame 100-97 in double overtime. Cole Certa led Notre Dame with a career-high 34 points. The Fighting Irish have lost six of their last seven; and Illinois-Chicago got past Indiana State 76-74.

The NFL is bringing the world’s largest youth flag football tournament to the Indianapolis area this summer. Starting July 23, more than 350 teams from around the globe will gather at Westfield’s Grand Park Sports Campus for the NFL Flag Championships.
