The Indiana Pacers’ held off the defending NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder 117-114 as heard last night on the Sports Voice. Andrew Nembhard led Indiana with 27 points and 11 assists. Jarace Walker added a career-high 26 points for the Pacers. Reigning league MVP Shae Gilgeous-Alexander poured in a game-high 47 for the Thunder. The Pacers wrap up the road trip Monday night in Atlanta.

Indiana University quarterback, Heisman Trophy winner and national champion Fernando Mendoza announced on social media on Friday that he is declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft. Mendoza is projected to be the #1 overall pick. His declaration comes days after the IU Hoosiers beat Miami of Florida for the College Football Playoff national championship.
The FBI is investigating the death of Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay. The Washington Post is reporting the bureau is investigating a recovery doctor in California who is accused of prescribing painkillers and ketamine to Irsay before he died. The publication says this doctor was treating Irsay when he passed away last May at the age of 65.
The NFL Conference Championships will be played tomorrow afternoon and evening. New England is at Denver in the AFC title game; the Los Angeles Rams visit Seattle for the NFC crown.
