The Pacers overcame a 20-point deficit to beat the Milwaukee Bucks 119-118 in overtime to win their opening round playoff series four games to one, in a contest heard last night on WRBI. The visiting Bucks led 118-111 with 40 seconds left in overtime, but Indiana’s Andrew Nembhard hit a three to cut it to 118-114. After the Pacers got a steal, Tyrese Haliburton scored a layup and converted a three-point play to cut the deficit to one. Following a Milwaukee turnover, Haliburton made a driving layup to win it with 1.4 seconds remaining in the extra period. This all came after Haliburton drove the lane and got a dunk to tie the game at 103 in regulation and send it to overtime. Haliburton finished with 26 points, nine assists, and five steals. The game featured 10 ties and 13 lead changes. All five Pacers starters scored in double figures. Aaron Nesmith had a double double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. The Pacers move on to the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Cavaliers. Game One will be Sunday in Cleveland.

The Reds and St. Louis Cardinals were rained out in downtown Cincinnati last night. They’ll make it up as part of a split doubleheader, with the opener this afternoon. Brady Singer will go to the mound for Reds against Cardinals righthander Miles Mikolas. Coverage on 103.9 FM begins following the Noon news block. In the nightcap, St. Louis will start lefthander Steven Matz. Reds manager Terry Francona has not named a game two starter. Airtime on 103.9 FM is 6:10.
