The Reds traded outfielder Stuart Fairchild to the Atlanta Braves yesterday for cash considerations. Fairchild was designated for assignment by the Reds last week.
The Pacers held off the Sacramento Kings 111-109 in NBA action last night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Aaron Nesmith led Indiana with 24 points. With the win, the Pacers go to 44-31 on the year and remain in fourth place in the East as they move closer to clinching a playoff spot for the second year in a row. The Pacers homestand continues tomorrow night against the Charlotte Hornets.
