Special Night at Dawg Pound

(Batesville, IN) – Batesville High School’s boys basketball program is inviting former Garrett’s Gang campers to take part in a special pregame experience when the Bulldogs host Franklin County later this month.

Head varsity boys basketball coach Aaron Garrett has extended the invitation to campers from the November Garrett’s Gang camp for the January 23 home game, a matchup that traditionally draws one of the season’s strongest crowds.

“It is a highly anticipated game for all the fans as the energy the campers bring into the gym is awesome!” Garrett said.

Campers will sit on the home bench during warmups before being announced and running through a tunnel formed by coaches and players prior to tipoff. Participants are asked to wear their Garrett’s Gang T-shirts.

The game will be played at Batesville High School. Campers and their family members will be admitted free of charge and should identify themselves at the admission table upon arrival.

Families are asked to arrive no later than 6:45 p.m., and the coaching staff is asking families to notify the program in advance if their camper plans to be introduced on the court.
