Versailles, IN—South Ripley band members competed in the ISSMA Solo & Ensemble Contest. Caitlin McCarthy received a gold medal for her baritone solo, Sam Stenger received a silver medal for his trombone solo and the clarinet trio of Mackenzie Robinson, Braelyn Scarber, and Alexis Sevier received silver.

The high school Polar Plunge Team will be having a Gold Star Fundraiser night at the Versailles Gold Star tomorrow night, February 13 from 4-9. The Polar Plunge is Saturday at the Versailles State Park. The plunge begins at 2:00 pm.
