Brookville, IN – The South Ripley Raiders boys basketball team travelled up to Franklin County to take on the Wildcats on Saturday, December 14, in their second game in as many days.
In a sluggish first quarter, South Ripley outscored the Wildcats by a score of 7-2 behind 5 points from Cole Henry to get the game started very slowly.
Things started to pickup but both offenses continued to struggle a bit, after one half, South Ripley led, 20-6. Great effort was shown on the defensive end from the Raiders and things were certainly locked down on that end of the floor.
The Wildcats still only scored 19 points in the second half due to this ramped up defense from the Raiders. South Ripley scores 40 points to lead to an interesting final score of 41-25. The Raiders’ Senior duo of Henry and Ward combined for 31 of the 41 points total. Raiders win, 41-25.
