South Ripley announces new high school principal

South Ripley School Board President Tim Taylor welcomes the Hite family back to South Ripley at the March 20, 2017, school board meeting.

VERSAILLES, Ind. — The South Ripley Community School Corporation announced that beginning July 1, Rod Hite will be the new principal of the high school.

Hite replaces David Wintin who resigned effective at the end of the current school year, after serving as the high school principal for the last four years.

Hite returns to South Ripley from the Richland-Bean Blossom School Corporation near Bloomington where he served as Principal of Edgewood Junior High School for two years and is currently serving as Assistant Superintendent.

Before his time at Richland Bean-Blossom, Hite spent four years as the Principal of South Ripley Junior High School.
