Signal work resumes in Greensburg Thursday

Greensburg, Ind. — Contractors installing signals in Greensburg will begin work at State Road 3 and Freeland Road Thursday, June 1, weather permitting. Motorists can expect some delays while crews run wire, make connections and tension cables.

After that, crews will conduct the same operations on State Road 46 at the following intersections- Ireland Street, Monfort Street, Broadway Street, Franklin Street and Michigan Avenue.

Finally, crews will return to State Road 3 at Freeland Road and Broadway Street to install new signal heads.

Work at each intersection is expected to last one day.
