Shirley enjoyed many interests. She dearly loved Christmas and had an extensive collection of Santa’s and Dicken’s Christmas Carol Village pieces she displayed. And Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel were a must. A good cook, she kept her family well fed with homemade soups, casseroles, cookies and cakes. She liked working on puzzles during the winter and then looked forward to tending to her flowers when the weather turned warm. Shirley especially loved spending time with family whether that was vacations, with trips to Disney World and Gatlinburg among her favorites, or shopping with the grandkids. She also did quite a bit of embroidering through the years in addition to preparing gift baskets each year for the St. Louis Church festival.
Shirley is survived by her husband Charlie; son Chris (Shawna) Hannebaum; sister Mary Ann Struewing; brothers William G. “Buzz”, Terry and Timothy Weberding and grandchildren Mackenzie and Kylie Hannebaum, all of Batesville. She is preceded in death by her parents.
