Robert “Bob” Carter, 75, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022.
He was born November 24, 1946, in Indiana, son of the late Zephery Carter and Bertha (Sebree) Carter.
Bob was a member of the Cedars of Lebanon Church in Dillsboro, and he served on the Lawrenceburg Honor Guard.
Bob was a quiet man. He enjoyed fishing, country music and watching westerns. Bob’s family was most important to him and he will be greatly missed.
Robert is survived by his loving spouse of 32 years, Margie (Mills) Carter, son, Kenneth Ashcraft of Indianapolis, IN; siblings, Betty (Paul) Metcalf/Dietrich?? of Ross, OH, Mary (Bob) Vinson of Aurora, IN, Bill (Anna) Carter of Hamilton, OH; grandchildren Grant (Emily) Ashcraft, Brittany (Jacob) Moritz, Mickayla (Christian) Bernius, Brandon, Jordan, Brionna and Kennan; great-grandchildren, Allie, Rylee and Bentlee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Zephery and Bertha; daughter, Kimberly Ashcraft; siblings, Charlie Carter, Joe Carter, Barbara Thayer and Candy Carter and great-granddaughter, Kimberlee.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the family’s convenience.
