Shelby Dean Bockover, 84

Shelby Dean Bockover, 84, of Greensburg passed away on November 22, 2022. She was born on August 18, 1938 in Whitesburg, Kentucky the daughter of Culbert and Nancy Madden Thomas. Shelby was graduate of New Point High School. She married Bobby George Bockover, Sr. on September 5, 1960 and together they had three sons. Shelby worked at the Koffee Kup Restaurant and was a Custodian at the Greensburg Community High School until retirement.
Survivors include: Sons, Bobby G. (Donna) Bockover, Jr., Bruce (Kimberly) Bockover and Thomas Bockover; Grandchildren, Marie Black and Bryan Bockover; Great Grandchildren, Peyton Bockover and Kali Bockover; and Brother, Richard Thomas. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband; Brothers, Gerald Thomas and Gobal Thomas; and Sister, Nina Mozingo.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Arbor Grove Village and Kindred Hospice for their wonderful care and making their mother comfortable in her final days.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral services at 1:00 pm at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Rev. Paul Wenning will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Rossburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Kindred Hospice.
