Sharon Sue Naegele, 77, of Dillsboro passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 at St. Elizabeth-Dearborn Hospital in Lawrenceburg. She was born Thursday, December 30, 1943 in Muncie, Indiana to Lawrence Naegele and Myrtle (Green) Naegele. Sharon spent 32 years working for the U.S. Bank in Dillsboro as a teller for the drive thru. Sharon could often be found reading, baking cakes, enjoying her coloring books, and doing crafts of any kind. She was an incredibly talented craft maker and baker. Sharon taught Sunday school at the Dillsboro United Methodist Church as well.
Sharon is survived by her daughter, Tracy Naegele of Dillsboro; sister Wanda (Charlie) Baker of Dillsboro; and grandson Austin Hullinger of Dillsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Myrtle Naegele as well as her sister Donna Joyce (Naegele) Laaker.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember Sharon on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 5 PM to 6 PM at Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home in Dillsboro. A memorial service will follow at 6 PM with Pastor Jay Baker officiating. Memorials may be given in honor of Sharon to the Naegele Family.
