Seymour Woman Killed in Crash

(Seymour, IN) – A 41-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Seymour early Tuesday morning.

Troopers at the Indiana State Police Versailles Post say a car driven by Anna Grove of Seymour turned into the path a box truck at the intersection U.S. 50 and Stevens Way around 6:20 a.m.

The box truck collided with the passenger side of Grove’s car in the middle of the intersection.

Grove was taken to Schneck Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

The box truck driver, 55-year-old David Gosman of Greenfield, was not injured.

All westbound lanes on U.S. 50 were closed for more than two hours for the investigation and cleanup.

ISP says the investigation is ongoing.

Toxicology results are pending, but drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash.
