Sexual misconduct charges lead to eight year sentence

Aurora, In. — Bradley Chase Johnson has been sentenced to eight years in prison for sexual misconduct with a 14-year-old female. All but two years are suspended and Johnson must register as a sex offender.

A report from Dearborn-Ohio County prosecutor Lynn Deddens says the victim provided tearful testimony that detailed the lasting effects on her and family. Johnson was 18-years-old at the time of the crime.

Deddens praised deputy prosecutor Jeff Wilson, the Aurora Police Department and the victim saying, “She showed immense courage in confronting the defendant, who preyed on her.”
