Several area athletes, teams earn SCAI Softball Academic All-State

The Softball Coaches Association of Indiana has announced its Academic All-State honorees for the 2021-22 school year.

First Team Academic All-State:

  • Franklin County’s Anne Becker.
  • Greensburg’s Allison Ripperger.
  • Jac-Cen-Del’s Aundrea Cullen.
  • Rising Sun’s Josie Bell and Cora Poling.
  • South Ripley’s Mady Tompkins and Emily Campbell.

Academic All-State Honorable Mention:

  • Jac-Cen-Del’s Tobie Benefiel.
  • Rising Sun’s Ella Eldridge.

Team Academic All-State:

  • Franklin County 3.88 GPA.
  • Hauser 3.72 GPA.
