Sara Jean Foster, 95, of Greensburg passed away on November 24, 2019. She was born on July 1, 1924 in Greensburg, the daughter of Floyd and Lola Biddinger Fey. Sara was a 1942 graduate of Greensburg High School. On November 14, 1970, she married Robert “Bob” Foster and he survives. Sara was the owner and baker of Christman’s Cafeteria, she worked for the Public Telephone Company and at Sibbitt’s. She was a member of the Sandusky United Methodist Church and was a Lifetime 50+ member of Tri Kappa.
Survivors include: Husband, Bob Foster; Step-daughter, Linda Osting; Step-son in Law, Stanley Nichols; Grandchildren, Nathan (Jennifer) Osting, Brett (Kristy) Osting, Amy (Jason) Murray, Krista (Michael) Zanis, Julie (Ben) Sharp, and Russell (Courtney) Nichols; and Great Grandchildren, Addy Osting, Balee Osting, Caitlynn Osting, Gracie Osting, Luke Osting, Devon Murray, Brayden Murray, Ashton Murray, River Zanis, Willow Zanis, Teagan Sharp, Blake Nichols, and Tyler Nichols; Sister, Martha McCammon; Sister in Law Marie Fey; Niece, Susan (Jeff Krueger) McCammon; and Nephew, Mark (Brenda) McCammon. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Step-daughter, Karen Nichols; Step-son in Law, David Osting; Brother, John Fey; Brother in Law, Leon McCammon.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Rev. Margaret Lowe and Rev. Richard Waddle will be officiating.
