(Brookville, IN) – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Stayin’ Alive L-C-C are teaming up for a prescription drug take back event next month.
Deputies will be stationed in the Brookville United Methodist Church parking lot on Tuesday, June 10 from 5-7 p.m. to collect unused, unwanted or expired medications for proper disposal.
They ask that you not drop off any sharps.
This is one of several prescription drug take-back events that are held in various parts of the county throughout the year.
If you can’t make next month’s event or any other throughout the year, there is a permanent prescription collection box in the lobby of the Franklin County Security Center at 371 Main Street in Brookville.
