Ronald D. Adkins, 69, Lake Santee, passed away on October 10, 2022. He was born on January 30, 1953, in Connersville, the son of Robert L. and Carolyn Collyer Adkins. He was a 1972 graduate of Greensburg High School. Ron married Debra Buchanan on January 27, 1975 and together they had four children: Veronica, Jeffrey, Robert, and Scott. Ron worked at Batesville Casket retiring after 30 years in 2016.
Survivors include: Wife, Debra Adkins; Sons, Jeffrey Adkins, Robert (Miranda) Adkins, Scott (Misty) Adkins; Grandchildren, Tory Walmsley and Ashton Adkins; Siblings, David (Judy) Adkins, Diane Blanford, Brenda (Max) Smiley, Jamie Adkins and Kim (Frank) Nieman. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Daughter, Veronica Adkins.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until the time of the funeral at 3:00 pm.
