(Batesville, IN) – Jane Rogers has been named interim Batesville Community Schools Superintendent.
Rogers brings 40 years of experience in education to the position, including 20 years with Milan Community Schools, where she served nearly seven years as superintendent.
She will serve in the post while the Batesville School Board completes its recruitment process to hire a new superintendent to succeed Paul Ketcham, who began his new duties on Monday as the State of Indiana’s Assistant Secretary of Education following a nine-year run at Batesville.
Officials say Rogers will serve at Batesville during the transition until a permanent superintendent is hired.
