Roberta F. “Bert” Pavy

Roberta F. “Bert” Pavy, 95, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2022, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

She was born February 26, 1927, in Switzerland County, Indiana, daughter of the late Earl Furnish and Hazel (Osborn) Furnish.

Roberta worked as a Nurse for Dearborn County Hospital retiring after many years of service.

She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Roberta was a member and held several offices for both St. Anne’s Altar Society, and the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Roberta was also a member of the Cadet Nursing Corp at the end of WWII.

She enjoyed playing cards, reading, puzzles and crocheting. She enjoyed traveling and took a special family trip to the Bahamas for her 80th birthday. She was an excellent baker and was famous for her rolls and cinnamon rolls. Roberta enjoyed spending time with family and friends and she will be missed by all.

Roberta is survived by her children, Donna Wehmeyer of Lawrenceburg, IN, Diane (Wayne) Caudill of Aurora, IN, Bessie Henson of Lawrenceburg, IN, Jim (Kerri) Robinson of Georgetown, TX, Ann (Tracy) Craven of Lawrenceburg, IN; siblings, Jean Morton of Pleasant, IN, Vera Wolf of Madison, IN, Earl W. Furnish of Vevay, IN; grandchildren, Mary Bryant, Jason Wehmeyer, Sarah Oyler, Tracy Minnis, Tara Grimes, Heather Boggs, Joey Caseltine, Andy Robinson, Allison Robinson, Crystal Uhlman, Casey Craven; 17 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Hazel; spouse, first husband, Richard “Tucker” Robinson; husband Wilfred Pavy; son, John Robinson; brother, Robert “Bob” Furnish; and great-grandson, Jacob Boggs.

Friends will be received Friday, August 19, 2022, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, IN.

Services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
