Mr. Gary Milliard Watson

Mr. Gary Milliard Watson, age 66, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on July 4, 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and was the son of the late Joseph Kendrick and Reva Mae (Pitman) Watson. Gary was united in marriage on August 16, 1986 to Ginna Marie Young in Cincinnati, Ohio. This happy union of 36 years was blessed with three children. Gary was a restaurant manager for 20 years and was also employed for Schwan’s for 20 years. Gary resided in the Switzerland County community since 1988. Gary worked hard all of life to provide for his family that he loved deeply and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He had a passion for cooking and he loved baking bread, canning, gardening and yard work. Gary also loved nature and hummingbirds. Gary passed away at 10:52 a.m., Friday, August 12, 2022, at his residence.

Gary will be missed by his wife, Ginna Marie (Young) Watson of Vevay, IN; his daughters, Amanda Caudill and her husband, Kyle of Evansville, IN and Ashley Lynch and her husband, Joey of Vevay, IN; his son, Alex Watson of Vevay, IN; his grandchildren, Peyton, Ethan and Joey; his brother, Wayne Watson of Columbia, SC; his sister, Joanne Mental of Cincinnati, OH and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Kendrick and Reva Mae (Pitman) Watson and his brother, Tom Watson.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 18, 2022, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 18, 2022, by Rev. Mike Jones, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.

Gathering and luncheon will be held at the Ogle Park in Vevay, Indiana following the interment. Gary loved food and the family request if you would like to bring your favorite dish!
