Dewayne D. Johnson

Dewayne D. Johnson, 54, of Portland, Tennessee, formerly of Aurora, Indiana passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022, in Portland, Tennessee.

He was born October 23, 1967, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, son of the late Ray L. Gullion and Sharon K. Witteride-Ujvary.

Dewayne was the owner and operator of a Concrete Company. He formerly served on the Volunteer Fire Dept. Company #2 in Aurora.  He was a member of the Protectors National Motorcycle Club and the New Vision Church.  Dewayne loved his farmall tractor, going to tractor pulls, boating and going to Cincinnati Reds games and Colts games.

Dewayne is survived by his significant other, Tracy Zaleski of Portland, TN; children, Cassidy, Katie, Corey and Abigail Johnson, Katelyn Bailey, Tyler A. Bailey, Dalton M Bailey, Leslie and Autumn Johnson; siblings, Tina (Jonathan) Martin, Devona (Ward) Carpenter, Harry (Velvet) Witteride, Sharon Cook, and Rhonda Wright; grandchildren, Isabella Rose Matthews, Amilli and Ishon Chatham, and Dominic Bailey; nieces and nephews, Steven (Shelby) Marksberry, Kristina Marksberry, Amber (Corey) Ferman, Jonathan Martin, Phillip (Jacqueline) Witteride, Kyle Witteride (Morgan Jacobs), Amanda (Jimmy) Green, Renee Carpenter, Ward Carpenter Jr., Brandon (Elizabeth) Carpenter; great nieces and nephews, Carly Martin, Mariah Marksberry, Alexa Marksberry, Hunter Witteride, Charles Jacobs, Lucy Witteride, Sophia Witteride, Lylian Grace, Tayah Holdcraft, Kloyi Grace, David Holdcraft Jr., Josh Holdcraft, Paisley Martian, Corbin Carpenter and Aiden Carpenter.

He was preceded in death by father, David Gullion; mother, Sharon Kay Witteride-Ujvary and siblings, Wanda Gullion, Shannon Gullion and Scott Gullion.

Friends will be received Saturday, August 20, 2022, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, IN.

Services will be held at the Funeral Home at 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow in the South Sparta Cemetery, Moores Hill, Indiana.
