Batesville, IN — INDOT contractor Paul H. Rohe Company plans to work this week on stormwater replacement on Smith Street between George and Pearl streets.
Smith Street will be closed during the project.
A crew will work on concrete replacement on Boehringer from Park to Eastern this week, as well.
Motorists can expect daytime flagging in that area.
Other work scheduled for this week includes:
- Patching, milling and paving on Boehringer from Smith to Walnut starting Wednesday.
- Milling and paving on George Street from Vine to Mulberry, also starting Wednesday.
INDOT and the City of Batesville want to remind drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and consider worker safety when traveling through active construction zones.
All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
