(Indianapolis, IN) – Congratulations to Ripley County Tourism Bureau Executive Director Terri Trowbridge.

She was one of 12 tourism industry representatives from across the state who were recently presented a Hoosier Hospitality Award from the Indiana Destination Development Corporation (IDDC).

The award recognizes Trowbridge and the others for their high level of service in tourism-related jobs at hotels, restaurants, attractions and other destinations.

“These 12 individuals represent what Hoosier Hospitality means,” said Amy Howell, IDDC Interim CEO. “Because of people like this, Indiana’s tourism and hospitality industry continues to shine.”

Nominations for the Hoosier Hospitality Awards are submitted by community members plus destination patrons, and are reviewed and selected by IDDC.

Agency officials say outstanding service is a significant factor in determining whether a person returns to a business or destination.
