Ripley County Man Arrested Following Threat Complaints

(Ripley County, IN) – Multiple complaints from Ripley County residents about a man placing threatening notes in their mailboxes over the weekend has led to an arrest.

57-year-old Jason Arnoldy of Ripley County was taken into custody Sunday afternoon and charged with Impersonating a Public Official, Intimidation and Invasion of Privacy.

The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office says Arnoldy identified himself as the U.S. Marshal of Ripley County Court when placing the notes on mailboxes and some residences around the county.

Arnoldy is being held in the Ripley County Jail without bond pending his initial hearing.
