The day begins at 9 a.m. with the 4-H Dairy Goat Show in the Show Arena.
From 11 to 1, 4-H members can enjoy a free lunch just outside the arena—because hard work deserves good food.
This afternoon, it’s all about goats. The 4-H Meat Goat Show steps into the spotlight at 1 p.m., immediately followed by the 4-H Pygmy Goat Show.
Over at the Farm Bureau Building, the Mobile Aquatic Exhibit makes a splash from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
At 6, the 4-H Horse & Pony Fun Show trots into the Ripley County Equine Center, just as the midway opens up for the night. Rides run from 6 to 10 p.m.
And tonight’s main event: the Horse Pull at the grandstand, starting at 7:30. Expect big horsepower and plenty of crowd cheers.
