The 4-lane section of State Road 46 will be repaved this week by the Indiana Department of Transportation.
The work will begin on Thursday morning, and also include repairs to several curbs and the installation of ADA-compliant sidewalk ramps at the State Road 129 intersection.
Repairs will be done by the Paul H. Rohe Company, which is INDOT’s contractor for this $704,775 asphalt overlay project.
The company will mill off an inch-and-a-half of existing surface pavement along the 2.8 mile-section of the 46.
After milling and patching have been complete, a new asphalt surface will be applied.
