Two North Decatur football players were recognized for their accomplishments by Indiana Football Digest.
Reid Messer was named the Indiana 1A Player of the Year, becoming the first North Decatur football player to ever win the award. In his senior season, Messer rushed for 1604 yards and 36 touchdowns.
Carson Parmer was announced as part of the Small School All-State Defensive Line. Parmer recorded 56 tackles with 10.5 of them being for loss during his senior season for the Chargers.
