Rainy forecast forces Eureka Band to move tonight’s concert to Liberty Park Pavilion

Batesville, IN — The Batesville Eureka Band’s 2021 Friday night concert series continues tonight from 8 until 9 at Liberty Park.

However, the concert will take place in the Pavilion instead of the Bandstand because of rain in the forecast. The concert is free and open to the public.

In addition, the Sweets ice cream shop at the park will be open until 9 pm. Proceeds from sales at Sweets benefit New Horizons Rehabilitation.

The Eureka Band was formed in 1887 and is one of the oldest all-volunteer community bands in the United States.
