Robert “Bob” W. Crosthwaite

           Robert “Bob” Wesley Crosthwaite, 70, of Moores Hill passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021, at King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison. Bob was born to Hubert and Mattie (Florence) Crosthwaite in Cynthiana, Kentucky on Sunday, November 12, 1950. He married his loving wife, Phyllis Fugate on July 17, 1990. Bob was self-employed working for Bob Crosthwaite & Associates. He was a former member of the Masonic Lodge in Norwood, Ohio. He enjoyed vacationing in the state of Florida; was a very handy at craftsmanship; and loved watching old westerns. He was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Bob was a kindhearted man and would help anyone out if he could.

Bob will be missed by his surviving family including his loving wife Phyllis Crosthwaite of Moores Hill; sons Joshua Crosthwaite of Milford, Ohio, and Tony (Bridgette) Hummel of Aurora; daughter Theresa Ollman of Milan; grandchildren Christie Moore of Lakeland, Florida, Michael Sweet of Milan, Denise Sweet of Milan, AJ Hummel of Aurora, Elizabeth Hummel of Aurora, and Noah Hummel of Dillsboro; great-grandchildren Michael Sweet, Landen Sweet, Cali Sweet, Branch Campbell, and Paisllee Wagner; brothers James (Wanda) Crosthwaite of Palatka, Florida, Lewis (Carol) Crosthwaite of Palatka, Florida, Roy Crosthwaite of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Martin (Marjorie) Crosthwaite of Palatka, Florida; sisters Judy O’Neal of Columbus, Ohio, Libby Yarborough of Palatka, Florida, Patricia Williams of Lake City, Florida, Wanda (Ron) Keilholz of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Jeanie Arnold of Flemington, Kentucky, and Rex the family dog. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Mattie, daughter Cassandra Ranee Hummel, son Jimmy Hummel, and brother Donald Crosthwaite.

Family and friends may gather in remembrance of Bob from 1 – 3 PM Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home in Moores Hill. A service celebrating his life will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, July 21, 2021, with Pastor Harris Long officiating. Memorials may be given in honor of Bob to P.A.W.S. of Dearborn County or the American Cancer Society.
