STATEWIDE—Rain is supposed to fall in Indiana at times over the next few days.
“After Friday, we’ll see another round Saturday night into Sunday. Amounts are going to be heaviest as you get closer to the Ohio River. Northern portions of the state may not see much rain with this system,” said Andrew White, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Indianapolis.
White says southeast portions of Indiana will likely get the most rain, which is likely to be over an inch.
“Closer to Indianapolis, the total rainfall looks to be less than a half inch with this,” said White.
He also says the mild temperatures will continue.
“Temperatures will be in the mid-50s on Friday, near 60 on Saturday, and then really staying above normal until the new year,” said White.
White says there could be wind gusts reaching around 30 mph at times.
“You’ll want to watch out for those, so if you have holiday decorations that are still outside, those could get blown around a little bit,” said White.
