(Manchester, IN) – The South Dearborn Community School Corporation will hold a on-site public auction at the former Manchester Elementary School next Saturday, October 25.
Maddux Auction of Greensburg is conducting the event.
A wide array of school items will be up for bid, including student desks and chairs, office furniture, filing cabinets, bookshelves, smart boards, pianos, cafeteria tables, and more.
Concessions will also be available throughout the event.
An item preview day is scheduled for next Friday, October 24 from Noon to 6 p.m.
Doors will open at 8 a.m. on the day of the auction.
Item Pick-Up is scheduled for Sunday, October 26 from 1-5 p.m. and Monday, October 27 between 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Cash, Visa, or MasterCard will be accepted. No buyer’s premium or clerking fees.

The South Dearborn School Board voted in April to close Manchester Elementary due to rising operating costs and declining enrollment.
