The Greensburg Boys Track and Field team traveled to Nashville Saturday for the Talon Relays at Brown County High School. The Pirates finished 10th with 14.5 points in the 11 team field. Columbus North was the overall champion on the day.

The top finish for the Pirates was the 4x800m relay team of Kevin Johnson, Reid McClintic, Louis Moore and Jared Hasselbring in 5th with a time of 9:20. Setting PR’s in the meet were Scott Dorsett with a 16’2″ long jump, Michael Back with a 55.5 400m relay leg and Hasselbring in the 3200 running 10:53.23.

The boys performed well amongst solid competition. There were bright spots for the team despite not scoring many points. This meet will only make the team stronger for county, conference and the state meet series.
The Pirates will travel to Franklin High School on Tuesday for their next dual meet.
