BATESVILLE, IN — Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Paul H. Rohe Company plans to close State Road 229 between Boehringer and Shrader streets in downtown Batesville on Monday, June 27, to complete a sewer pipe replacement project.
The road is expected to remain closed through Friday, July 1.
The official detour will follow West Pearl Street, Mulberry Street, and Mitchell Avenue to State Road 46.
Semi traffic should avoid this detour and use an alternate route.
The work is part of a $1.5 million contract that includes patching, milling, and paving S.R. 229, south of S.R. 46.
