(Greensburg, IN) – Highpoint Events in Greensburg kicks off the inaugural Napoleon State Bank “Pickin’ In The Orchard” Concert Series Presented by Koors Heating and Cooling tonight.
Tonight’s headliners for the first of this six-part series are Grammy Award winner and world-class Nashville songwriters Tim James and Dan Couch, who will be “Singin’ Songs and Tellin’ Stories.”
James’ songwriting credits include “My List” by Toby Keith, Chris Stapleton’s “Either Way,” “Give It All We Got Tonight” by George Strait, “Love Like Crazy” by Lee Brice, and Rodney Atkins’ “He’s Mine.”
Couch is a native Hoosier from Logansport and wrote “Hole In The Bottle” for Canaan Smith plus several Kip Moore hits, including “Something ‘Bout A Truck” and “Hey Pretty Girl.”
Rushville native Lindsey Flannery will be the opening act.
Gates open at 5 pm, with showtime at the Highpoint Pergola Stage at 6.
The Greensburg/Decatur County Chamber of Commerce celebrated the new ownership of Highpoint Events this week when they welcomed Eric and Alyssa Rowles, who are partnering with local auto dealer Russ Hubler, with a ribbon-cutting (pictured).
