Phyllis I. Willsey, age 73, of Brookville, Indiana died Saturday, July 30, 2016 at McCullough Hyde Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Ohio.
Born April 4, 1943 in Hamilton, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Clarence & Lucy (Bond) Bolser. On May 15, 1961 she was united in marriage to Alan Willsey, and he preceded her in death on October 11, 2005.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Brookville. Her greatest joy in life was her family and she cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter & son-in-law, Donna & Doug VanVliet of Brookville, Indiana; a son, Gordon Willsey of Brookville, Indiana; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Esther (Bob) Landers of Bright, Indiana; four brothers & five sisters-in-law, Roy W. (Gail) Bolser, Herschel (Alpha) Bolser, Gary (Kay) Bolser, Fred (Judy) Bolser and Rita Bolser all of Brookville, Indiana; as well as many nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents & husband, Alan, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda J. Schlosser who died June 2, 2011; and a brother, Ronald Bolser, who died August 25, 2012.
Rev. Mike Holman pastor of the First Baptist Church of Brookville will officiate the Funeral Services on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, 11:00 A.M., at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home in Brookville. Burial will then follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Mt. Carmel, Indiana.
Family & friends may visit from 9:00 until 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
