(Brookville, IN) – Indiana 50501 and the Franklin County Indiana Democratic Party will hold a “People’s Protest” outside the Franklin County Courthouse in Brookville on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Organizers say they plan to protest the policies of President Donald Trump and Indiana Gov. Mike Braun.
They add the event will concentrate on what organizers call “the blatant disregard for the Constitution,” and “legislation that restricts our freedoms, or wastes taxpayer funds.”
Organizers say they’ll observe Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s and former Rep. John Lewis’ method of non-violent, peaceful protest against state and federal government policies.
